Recently I purchased the PAC Dual Auxiliary Input Kit ISTY531. I tried installing it into my 2003 LX470 w/ Nav and got nothing. The directions are very unclear, however on the website it stated that it worked for my make model and year. The harness only fits into one of the rear plugs on the back of the nav unit which is the bottom left slot while looking at the back of the unit. I plugged it in and got nothing. It has flip switches for those that have FM XM mode as well. I tried that and nothing. The only thing it says that I struggled with is "you must disconnect the factory CD changer at the changer location" which I have yet to try bc I could not figure out how to get the thing out without pulling my whole center console.
Has anyone used this adapter before? How do you pull your factory CD changer and is there an easier way then pulling the center console? The directions also state that it is used for Nav with the FM SAT button which didnt come until 04 so that ruled the switches out of the issue I believe. It is such a PITA to pull nav everytime trying to figure this out so could anyone shed some light on this for me? Your help is much aprpeciated!
