Ship the hood via Greyhound. It's more reasonable than most. It worked when I needed one.
I have a hood and I am in california but it is an early model without the raised center portion and the vent.
It might have clearance issues depending on the engine type.
At one time I stripped the paint. Mostly surface rust with a few small pin holes. The price is right at FREE. I would be willing to drop off at grayhound for you.
