Need a door mechanism rod 1986 pickup

I have a 1986 pickup with power locks (not sure if this matters) and this part is damaged. Door won't open from the outside (unless the door is warm (?). Rather than buy an entire assembly, does anyone have one of these they're willing to part with? It's the rod circled in black. Oh, drivers' side.

Is that the rod from the outside door handle to the latch?

Yes. When you lift the handle it pulls up on the piece that opens the striker latch. I think that's what you mean?
