Need 2 60 birfields

Turns out the problems in my front axle are likely due to someone having put long birfields (not Long Fields!) into the axle. the stub measures 188mm long instead of the 178mm that the 60 birfs apparently should.

Awesome. Dan, I'll try you again later or stop by. Adam, I must have missed you had birfs, thought it was just inners.

Ken had some too, but attached to axles, so if Dan's work I think I'll tell Ken to stand down on digging his up.

Chris couldnt you just get the longer hubs to make it work??

i suppose looking for different hubs might work, but i lean towards putting in the correct size birfs. with my luck replacing the hubs would open whole new cans of worms.
