Wanted Need 1977 FJ55 axles

I need axles for my 1977 FJ55 to replace the rusted to oblivion ones that I have...I am also looking for a good frame....

I bought my rig from a salt zone and the underside is rusted to hell.....

Axles need to be complete.... PM or email me...

I will pay a fair price.

Hi All:

A "FYI" for you - the 55 Series uses the same axle assemblies as does the 40/45 Series. So, look for a FJ40 donor for replacement axle tubes.

Good look with the rig!

I have a rear housing you can have, but you need to come pick it up!

What do you have now? All the inners should be OK. Usually the axle housings are so thick, they are not significantly affected by the salt. Maybe you could just clean them up, rebuild, and go?

the rear 55 axle has sway bar mount tabs, which the 40 housing won't have.

I'm parting out a 1978 fj55. Might be costly to hip axles. Any interest?
