Name of front hood liner?

Can someone tell me the name of interior liner of the front hood? Mine is in desperate need of replacement. Not sure of its purpose… noise dampening, heat insulation, other? Is it essential and more importantly, where can I find a replacement? Thanks.

Hood insulator 53341-60100. OEM available at local Toyota dealer. Also, get the insulator clips.
