See photo for a firewall penetration, directly above the gas pedal. What is this? Bought it 10 years ago, it had a Weber conversion with tubular header, but mechanic took it back to stock with a TrollHole carb and supposedly OEM throttle linkage. Plan to put in a blankout plate, just want to under stand what it is. Thanks, RJ

Thanks for the! That crossed my mind, but the holes look very OEM, like they were punched with the panel was made in the factory. Were different throttle cables/routings something from the factory? Are there any premade blanking plates for this? Or do I just get some rodent-proof-spec material and make one? There's probably an SAE or ASTM spec for furry nibbler resistant products
