I was looking through my manual and then cruising google to find how to adjust my headlamps a little more upward without any luck. On my last MY15 I was able to do it with the toggle next to steering wheel. Currently the headlamps are not shooting out far enough ahead as I can see the brightest part of the headlamp hitting the road

Isn’t yours lifted?? If so then the lights are too high as it is!

Yes, it’s lifted but I think they were lowered a bit low when the lift was installed. I will have TOYOTA adjust it properly just to confirm.

I can see the brightest part of the projection hitting the road about 20ft out.

Just read through the diy section of the manual and the info on adjusting is on pages 495-496 if anyone is curious.

You adjust via the rear diff. Fine tune via the headlight itself

Hard to tell there, so I dunno..
Just saying that most lifts tend to raise the rear more than the front.
:meh:

I do wish there was an easy way to adjust the beam aim on my 2008...
