So I knew it was coming, there were warning signs. Disappearing coolant, disappearing oil, etc. But that doesn't make me less impatient with the 22re that only recently found its way into the truck mid December. I've been plagued by dying motors since I got the truck three years ago, this most recent 22re is the third. And about an hour ago, it blew it's headgasket into disappointing little pieces. However, I do have a freshly built 351w sitting covered on an engine stand, and an m5od-r2 bronco trans. I'm at the point now that I'm strongly considering scrapping my current project and using the motor in my unruly daily.
