How old are your O2 sensors? They can go out of spec. without throwing a code. Replacing them got me some power back.

(I think owner's manual sez to replace at 100k or so?)

new o2 sensors went in 2/04... OEM of course. not even 15,000mi ago i bet...

Steve, I am still impressed. Usually when I drive that stretch I am pretty loaded up with camping gear, but I am pretty sure I couldn't hold 65 when empty. And yes, headwinds suck.

No doubt! But just as the 3FE powered truck is compromised in some situations, this truck will be too, most likely in slow offroad conditions. I've never heard of a stock motored 62 with the stock auto tranny breaking a birfield. I know of a V8 powered 62 that has broken three birfs and two rear axles. It's always something! I like tractor power most of the time.
