So I just made a trip with my girlfriend up to mt baker for an anniversary thing.. driving my 84 bj 60
Noticed before I left that the tachometer, and all the other gauges exept for the speedometer went dead.. hmm oh well. still starts and runs fine.
well... when I tried to start it up to leave the mountains it wouldnt catch..
figured that whatever went out in the dash caused the glo plugs to go too.. so I found a chunk of wire and manually routed the positive to the plugs.. fired right up and made it home..
I think its a fuse or relay somewhere that would cause all these things to break at the exact same time.. I checked all the regular fuses but found nothing blown.. dont have a book on the truck..
any help as to where to look and where to find the part would be super appreciated. are the relays used on the fj 60s too??
