A few more photos of progress.

First trip to the pump. Obviously not complete but just had to take it out for a drive. The flares are line-x coated, and the stock wheels were powder coated.

Last pic for now. I guess its more of an 80 build but thought some might find it interesting - and I dont spend time on the 80 forum. Its the ideal cruiser for some of the exploration trips we take here in the summer. We try to get out once a year and its not hard to stay on dirt and gravel roads for days at a time (or as long as you want). I think this will be a smoother ride than the 75 for sure.

Front runner rack and 4xlabs rear are pictured here. The exhaust is a bolt on 3" kit and Ill probably modify the outlet now that the bumper is on.

I'd love to see this rig in my driveway.. every day.

I'm still jealous- you've got serious diesel sourcing and swapping skills

Thanks Kief. You may be in luck as this one is for sale.

The 80 was on loan to a friend and past customer for October/November while he was in the US (check out his expedition travel site). Ive had it back here in Portland since 12/3 and driving it every day. I really love driving it. Its done about 3500 miles at this point. MPG was around 19 for the time he had it. Not sure what it gets for me in town as I havent had to fill it yet.

I have a few minor details to finish up then I will put up a classified ad.

Chris
