Keep the Hundy for more rugged use, and install the RTT I got from Larry. LX gets to tow the TT and do lots of mall cruising with occasional mild off-pavement excursions.

REDARC brake controller installed a couple weeks ago. Weight Distributing Hitch setup last weekend. Did a test tow today. I can't believe how much an extra 150 hp, 80 lb-ft torque and 2 extra gears in the transmission (compared to my '99 LC100) make towing my 5k Travel Trailer a breeze. I was accelerating going up Sedillo Hill from Tijeras. Drove I40 from Tijeras exit all the way to Moriarty and the back to Edgewood. It holds 70 mph on the interstate with zero trouble in 4th and 5th gear. 4th is the 1.00 : 1 gear and I didn't let it go into 6th. I need to get an OBDII scanner with Bluetooth to connect to my phone so I can monitor trans temps real-time and see how they do in different conditions and different gears.
