Yes sir, I spent the weekend making a cradle for Brittan's old mobasa tent to work on my runner...pics coming.

I thought the tent needed more mounting space than the 4 little attachment points, so I boxed up some 1x1 into a cradle with more surface area for the weight to be distributed...as well as to mount to my existing rack & be removable..

Wished I'd have known you were doing this. I could've given ya a couple pointers. You're really going to want the support bars to extend out past the hinge point a bit to help support the span there. Ask me how I know. Other than that it looks great and you'll love this thing the first time you spend a night in it.

Ladders seem awful hard to navigate from the level of intoxication I achieve while camping. Maybe that's just me

Thanks for the heads up on the tent issue Bman, just as you described, when an adult was up there, I did get sag in the center, making the matress uneven.

Here is the solution - to provide more center support, for the seam outboard...2 removable outriggers / stancions.

Seems to work great, no saq now, even under 2 adults weight!
