Number one daughter got me this, some of ya seen it at the Roundup.....just got around to making a stand for it, tried it out tonite..........Grille Dome, similar to the Big Green Egg.......
Fixed a couple of big New York Strips.....baked taters, texas toast with seasoned butter, Shiner Bock and purple onions.....we ate outside, good times....

2 hours over oak charcoal with pecan chunk and a can of negra modelo crammed up his kiester.

I've also done a brisket, beef short ribs, and a chuck roast. This was my first bird. Definitely not my last.
 
Nice, I love this time of year for eating outside, looks yummy!:cool:

Chuck, you need to take the pic before the skin sampling mongers show up, that bird looks raped.:hillbilly:
 
One side was a roasted corn and black-bean hash. Wish I had a better name for it, but that's all I can think of to call it.
The other was Spanish rice.
Two other "sides" were two bottles of Moose Drool.


That was a fun dinner. :cheers:

Certianly!
1/2 bell pepper Diced
1/2 onion Diced
2 roma tomatoes Diced
1 Jalapeno Diced
2 bay leaves
4 cloves garlic Minced
1 bag frozen corn (I'm lazy) thawed
1-2 cans black beans
Salt an pepper to taste
1t cumin
1t oregano
1/2t cayenne

toast the corn in a hot cast iron skillet, and remove, add some oil, and sautee the veggies until tender. Add the garlic, leaves, and spices, combine, add the drained beans and toasted corn, and bring up to serving temp in your smoker.

Serving suggestion: a fork, and a bottle of beer.
Play with it however you like!:cheers:
