Finally posting some pics of the Hj45 I picked up for $1500 a few weeks ago
Its a 79 HJ45 with a 2H, 4 speed, drum brakes. Nothing Fancy
Have spent the last couple of weeks cleaning it up and making it a bit presentable. Have replaced the exhuast with oem. Replaced the clutch
Need to do the Brakes as the wheel cylinders are leaking,
Get the EDIC system fixed
Try eliminate some of the body rattles:frown:
New Seats
Make the tray look smarter (new headboard, underbody toolbox, and a step)

I removed that hideous bullbar the day I picked it up. it weighs a ton. Replaced it with a 79 series bumper I got from the local tip for 5 bucks (fits almost straight on) will source an original one oneday

My biggest dilema is what colour to paint it? anyone with any ideas. Im a bit over the old dune beige. There are 6 other 45's in my small town, all but 1 are dune beige. I was thinking Red, dont want anything over the top, as I will be using it as a work vehicle, carrying firewood, dirt, building timber, going camping etc, but want it to look a bit more presentable the the others around. Ideas????

Dave
