Kevin he looks as good grown as he did at 11 weeks. Beautiful dog. I agree, definitely some chow there. I've got twin brothers that are chow/mutt mix and have some very similar features. They have somewhat similar skulls and also both are solid black and have white patches on their breastplates, not as pronounced but they are there. Your comment about ladders sounds like my boys too. They'll climb the dog house, jump on top of a shelter I built and walk around on the roof top just to antagonize the other. They're quite agile as it sounds like Tubby is. Mine are about 50lbs each but look MUCH smaller than 50lbs. How big has he gotten?

More pictures of my dog........................OK! :D

Never saw the mom, so can't say what she was for sure. If she was a Lhasa the only thing she contributed was the long wheel base (just like a wagon) and the fact that he doesn't shed. I felt kinda bad about cutting such a beautiful coat off, but he is much cooler after his hair cut. (he HATES the heat) So here are some more photos, I need to get some better action shots so you can see what he looks like, he's one tough little bugger, and when he is happy the tail still curls all the way around.

LOL, that last shot is priceless.

What trail is that? North/South Lake? It's been a good ten years since I've camped up there, but I've sat on that same rock, just can't recall where it was. :D

Great dog! Wow, he's getting big quick. Awesome pix!

Thanks guys,

We love the little guy to death, just great to have around.

Tabraha, thanks, no doubt about it, he has a lot of Chow. It was great to see him and a Chow together, he was just a miniature version and they really liked each other so it was fun to watch.
He's up to 28.2 pounds and still filling out, but at nine months I don't think he will be getting much bigger. But like you mentioned about your Chows, no one can believe how heavy he is, a regular little tank.
We love big dogs as well but this guy thinks he is a big dog, big dog chill attitude all in a great "travel size"

Macneill, how's the scottie doing? getting any bigger?

Dogs rule.
