after 4 years of talking about it and looking around i finally took the plunge and got myself a 70 series...
I have owned cruisers for 10 years now and currenty own 2 fj45's a bj42, my toyota pickup and now the bj74!!

it is in super great shape, zero rust, a 96 percent perfect interior and a strong 13bt...

specs are...

-1985 bj74
-fully loaded
-pto winch
-33 inch bfg's
-5 speed
-currently 162000 kms

i really really like this truck.... i am thinking that its going to suit my lifestyle perfectly.. its just me and my awsome girlfriend (who encouraged me to buy this truck..) and a bunch of camping gear and we are going to do a lot of wheeling and enjoying nature again... my 45 did a good job but its no where near as comfy as this truck.. I almost dont know how I am going to get myself to wheel my old cruisers again!!
anyways, I am super excited to finally own a 70 series and I hope to have this for quite a while...
here are the pics....

Very nice truck. I've gotta say that's the first time I've ever heard a 74 decribed as "comfy". But then again, I haven't ridden in a 45 before.

Did you buy it from a dealer, private, or import it yourself?

Welcome to the 74 club lol nice unit congrats

a 45 pretty much rides like any 40 series with stock suspension....

I got it from a private guy who imports stuff...
