My new 66 Shorty winter project

Some of you probably saw this green short bed on Ebay a few weeks ago. Got her home safe and this one is definitely in great shape with all of the parts except the tailgate chains. My plans are a no modify keep it stock restoration. The bad news is I'll have to sell the '77 to finance this project.

I'm in Montana. As for the price...... still scratching my head on that. The Po did a complete frame off and did a pretty nice job of it. I wasn't looking for another yellow truck, just happened.

i was just about to buy it also
especially after he had sent me images that showed how nice it really was
then BANG you bought it
he wouldn't tell me how much you gave for it
just that it was more then his reserve

Yeah Dick, I've been looking for a new project for quite some time and seldom see anything in the Montana area worthy of restoring. I couldn't believe the condition of this one. His reserve was $7500. I offered a bit more which got it done. Hell, the wife was more excited than me I think.
