My new 1985 4Runner...

Just picked her up last weekend. Doing some preventative maintenance first, and then will do some minor mods. My 93 triple locked Land Cruiser gets most of my funds. I have a 4" lift and 37's ready to go on it, so I will keep the 4Runner more low key... for now anyway. My Land Cruiser now has a little brother!

EFI, 5 speed, 205k miles, A/C, zero rust!

Fantastic!! Now you need OME lift, bushwacker flares, 33's, and a good ol used winch from the local trading post. It will go anywhere. Nice find for sure

I will get some interior shots before too long. Brown interior. Wish it was gray, but I still dig it. Nothing special on the inside, the usual torn front seats. Decent condition other than that.

I can see from the pic it has the infamous front bumper end lean. Most of the Runners/minis around my neck of the woods no longer have the ends at all. Then again I live smack dab in the rust belt.

Yeah it is actually the bracket that is slightly tweaked. This truck is very solid, no rust. I was very happy to find it 1 hour from my house!

Thanks TheMAN, I spent all weekend swapping the leather seats for cloth in the 80. Vaccumed and cleaned the carpet and cloth seats. I am worn out.

I'm spent too... I painted the rear axle today... there was a few spots that were missing paint and I don't want it to rust any more than it already have.... not to mention the factory paint sucks anyway, so I want to make sure the whole thing doesn't become nasty brown years from now

just as I got done, it started raining!
