And/or one with less rocks. :flipoff2:

Nice lookin truck.

Great trick with the paint/primer. Did you experiment with that idea or somebody pass it on to you?

Wondering what kind of rims you have there also?

Why stop there? I do the whole interior! Looks great!

Looks Great! I did the interior of my old 4Runner like that and it lasted incredibly long. Only thing that I did not like about it was how really rough the surface stayed after curing (to the touch, not visually). It would actually abrade your hands and knees and it was irritating to my puppy's paws. I recoated it with the herculiner purposely thinned out too much and that smoothed the surface. It was the easiest interior surface to take care of. I would just park facing foward uphill and squirt from the front seats back with a water hose! I never thought about then painting the product with paint, I'm sure that will make it much smoother too. Anyways, looks great!

Ohh, beautiful house by the way.

On the exterior I used a paint brush and used Industrial Rustoleum Black Gloss paint. I would have sprayed, but I get impatient and prep work kills me, haha ... It is nice, because if I rub a tree, or a pocket rocket :D I can just touch it up with the black paint. Very easy to take care of, and hide the evidence.

I copied that idea for the interior panels, except I sprayed the Rustoleum because they were outside of the truck. Yes, I had to experiment with the primer. The first time I just tried putting the Herculiner on the rear upper corner pieces (where the third row seat belt mounts) with no primer, it peeled off like a scab. I had to find a primer that would work. Ended up using Rustoleum metal industrial primer. Same ingredients as the plastic primer they make, but dries much quicker. Anything that says, "industrial" is fast drying, ad I just love Rustoleum products. It has held up so far (about 4 weeks or so)

The way I think about it, if somebody wants the jack, they will have the jack. A lock is more to keep a kid away, or somebody that is nervous about stealing will not mess with it, if it is not quick. Any grown man that does not care, can steal it regardless. Just like if somebody wants in your house bad enough, most houses, they will get in, even if it means kicking a door down.

I am not worried about somebody stealing it, so nobody will! :D

Although, I kind of contradicted myself, because I did put a lock on it :meh:

Thanks guys,

-Josh

A little closer look!
