Sweet! I know I've got several dead drills hanging around to be re-purposed.

Kewl Idea !

Now how do you make sure the glass whip has got electron/electric connection ..
Base has the wire soldered to a griping area ?

EDIT ,,Sorry , sand flag !! DUH ..

And here i was thinking , hows the balance / tuning kept.

Why do you need to flag sand ?

on this particular chuck at least, and I suspect many others too, there is electrical continuity between the jaws and the bolt thread area so if you have a conductive antenna mast you'd just have to wire to the base. And there is a passage straight through the whole chuck, so an antenna wire could be simply passed through if you'd want to improvise something. Not suggesting you'd go through the trouble though. I'd stick with the whimsical flag app.

Flag sand...? Hmmm.... maybe cuz you found a particularly nice patch? :)
