Hi everyone, I posted in the "What did you do this weekend..." thread... so, guess this is only slightly an introduction.

I'm a newbie to off-roading. As a teenager did a little Moutain Trail driving in WV with a friends Scout II and another friend's Wrangler. I did pull the Wrangler out of a very snow ditch... with a HONDA ACCORD and a static rope. ;-) My first (and only so far) off road rescue. He didn't want to drive it the rest of the week so I drove his Wrangler all over those mountains.

I've had the '97 LC for a couple of months now. Former owner converted his wife's LC to what you see in the picture. My daily driver is an '10 FJ Cruiser that I've had since '15, and it's never been off road that I can tell. Did replace the Defender LTX tires with Continental A/Ts ... which are quieter and better pavement performing than the LTXs. Heh. They look at little more aggressive too, funny.

For the off-roading, the LC has a pretty nice setup I believe. OME 2.5" lift, 33" KO2s, part-time front lockers conversion, rock rails, ARB Front Bumper with Warn M8000 winch and KC 6" bulb lights, 4x4 Labs Rear Bumper and 3 jerry can storage with shovel bracket and spare wheel and tall jack brackets, overloading rear "box" that I need to see about removing and finding some 3rd Row Seats... I think that is most of the build, but I certainly don't know enough to know what else. :)

Here's my To Do (and Done) list.

I'll trade you a set of 3rd row seats for the overlanding box.

Where abouts are you in the SE?

It’s a homemade plywood and carpet box setup. I will keep it, but would like option for all four kids and wife to join instead of just some of them. Appreciate the offer though!
