I am planning on taking them off, I need to make sure not everything else comes off with them!

Nothing comes off withem. Toyota knows that people will eventually wheel these things. These running boards are the same exact ones as the ones on the Middle Eastern 100 series. Only different plastic end boots. If I remember correctly, there 2 12mm bolts holding each one of the supports.

Take those suckers off and post some pics!! It's amazing how much better the 100 looked without rb's. It looked a couple of inches higher without them. I'm really anal about rb's !! They have no place on any legitimate 4x4. There is a new RR down the street from me and it has runningboards and it looks just awful. IMO, of course !!

Them running boards are very low quality compared to last years heavy duty running boards. I bet you if my brother stands on them things they'll bend right off
