my first competition

and I did the s***s. It was the september 20,21st weekend and The MAINLAND CUP challange. 20 trucks signed up, 18 showed. I didnt get any time to take my own pictures as I was driving or fixing stuff all weekend. I did manage to rob a few from another site.

Sautrday morning the group was split in to two groups, two differnet trails. My group went to trail #1 called alpine. I was up first in the rock race section of the trail. I stared along a rocky section making my way to a nasty hill climb. Unfortuantly being the guinia pig for the day I quickly found out the hill was very slippery. So I go 20ft into the trail, and slid a good 20ft backwards off the trail into a 10ft hole. To make a long(and frusterating) story short I had a DNF for that whole trail.

Saturday afternoon afternoon was trail #2 called Stoner. I was 6th up in this one so I had a chance to watch and learn from some of the other guys. That didnt help. another 20ft into the trail I blew a tire and my day was over. Resulting in a very well deserved last place

I cant wait till next year!!

The weekend was a blast. Dan gave it a good shot but got spanked by a hard first run.
