After leaving churn creek, Marie and I drove home to change a leaky Power steering pump, restock our supplies and head to Roche LK. After driving around the sites for a bit looking for Team Poland we set up camp at Black lk. Parked the truck and went down to the lake. On our way up I noticed something, something moving, something rolling. I should have fixed that e-brake cable:whoops:

Oh man does that suck. The truck can be fixed but she's not gonna let you forget that one for the rest of your life. :bang: They have the funny way of bringing up these small details in the heat of an arguement.

BTW, how did you get out of there? I presume you'll be keeping the HJ61 a bit longer, eh?

Thats why I never have a working e-brake - It does'nt work so no need to trust it! I usually park up against a tree or rock instead, kinda like you did, but less messier.

Oh, and you need to build stouter bumpers, none of that wussy little pipe stuff :)

Belive it or not after bedning the fan shroud out of the way I was able to drive it. The rad is bent to s*** but it doesnt leak. The new power steering pump now leaks and the pulley is bent, both front fenders, hood, all front clip parts and the rear seat is bent due to the load of wood smashing from the impact.

Ohh yeah I was actually going to go through insurance cus of the rad and ps pump but silly me, I dont have colision:censor:

I'm going out to adjust the '55 e-brake right now!!

so sorry to see this happend man .
i hope you have parts for it .
Frame ok ?

and you need a bigger Bamper :)

i know that spot camped there many times

Dan might have a few parts around :wrench:

I for one can find the humor in all this, Dan. Fisrt day up I heard alot of "$900 truck, dumpster exhaust" and so on. But the one that was repeated, and pionted out by members was a hanging ebrake cable. I believe it went something like this, "hey dude, my e-brake cable is taped so it won't drag".

Glad to see you and Marie on the trip, better luck with the next $800 truck. ;)
Maybe you should have taken Maries car, now that thing kicks ass.

Holy SHAYZEN , That really sucks man, I am glad that you and Marie were able to get home.

Sorry to hear that I'm not the only one banging out sheet metal,at least it didn't run you guys over.I think I might look into line locks or maybe a good set of chocks.Connor and I are fine and the 40 now has plexyglass windows. Chris
