Wow! Somebody found this old thread?

I thought it was dead. :)

Given the time, I would be happy to bust out some cad drawings for y'all. However I don't see myself having the time in the near future. I'm happy to answer any questions.

Hey Pete - Did you ever get the third pallet from New Zealand? I'm still looking for a PTO. :D

How far out the back does the jerry can carrier sit? I really like this design, getting ready to do my own!

Hey folks!

I just happen to have checked this thread to lift a photo and noticed that there have been more posts over the last year.

Thanks for the interest. I'll see what I can do about some CAD drawings. Be patient with me though. I have a lot on my plate and drawings will take a bit of time.

The carrier sticks out about 18" total including the license plate holder and light from the back of the truck. It's a long way out, but it's up high enough that it doesn't hurt anything.

OK people, drawings are in progress. I have completed a basic dimensional drawing of the main bumper. This does not include the swing-outs. Those drawings are next.

This drawing is not detailed enough for fabrication. You will have to make your own fab drawings to locate drill holes, cut lines, etc. Also, the dims I used may not fit your truck exactly. You should substitute your own measurements for critical dims like the distance between frame rails.

Please email me for the drawing(s) chrishardwick@versalogic.com. These drawings are free for non-commercial use. I retain all other rights.

If you want fab drawings, I would be willing to trade the drafting time and rights to manufacture for say, a complete, working 60 series PTO winch. :)

Thanks to all for your patience with the drawings and for your interest in my project.

Great looking bumper Mountain Goat. No shortage of ideas here - thanks IH8MUD !

Out of curiosity, how much is a complete 60 series PTO setup worth where you are ?? I bought one last week from an import yard and got the whole cr&ppy bumper with it for AUD $650.00. It came with all the shafts, linkages, shifters, and U-joints. The winch is going into an ARB winch bar.

I've seen prices as low as ~$700 US, delivered. That is from Canada.
