93Cruisere - nice build.

agreed that feedback on an 80 series LC would be best suited in the 80 series thread...but to say that 37's and beadlocks somehow make this a non-expedition build rig seems a bit much....tell that to the Ironman 4x4 guy in the "bolivia expedition" thread under the "expedition builds" section. I guarentee the white 75 series (I believe) is rolling on least 36-37" BFG M/Ts with beadlocks....For where those guys went he should have put Boggers on his rig...different strokes for different folks.

...This kind of tire can be found all over the U.S.A.

Yep:cheers:

How many people on here are taking their trucks to third world countries? The OP is from Nebraska, the 37" military tires he is running should be cheap and easy to find anywhere within 1000 miles and can be changed in a parking lot with hand tools.

Exactly!
Hey, as long as he's staying stateside, he's in good shape.
For me, at least for the foreseeable future, an "expedition" is going to be a camping trip to the Fla. Key's, a run up to the panhandle, and hitting up quaint little towns all over Florida with my 5 year old granddaughter:)
Promised her we'd "explore" Florida:D:bounce2:

If I ever get the chance to go OCONUS, I'll change tires:lol::D

Great build. Keep it up!

I am! Driven to Panama and back 2x in a highly modified S/C'ed Tacoma! I just got an 84 FJ60 with a v8 and 35's that will be my next truck to take to Panama and back. I know a guy who is right now driving all the Americas on 37s and 6" of lift.

Oh and I drove 25,000 miles through all of Baja, all of Mexico and all of Central America 2x on the same set of BFG A/Ts. Not a single flat!! I do carry 2 tire plug kits though... ;)

Don't believe everything you read on the internet!!
