I ran a cool set of ssr's for a while. 35x10.50x15s, Man they were cool looking but really didn't do anything well.

The Cab was shot and the bed wasn't any better. I wanted a 2wd look so i managed to find a decent 2wd bed and cut a foot off of the back. Cut and replaced the roof to the best of my ability( the rust came back) and painted the whole thing.

My next project for the truck is to replace the tired 22r with a 2rz. I bought a mint 1989 longbed single cab that i plan to swap the cab and bed over to my frame. Once i have the body off i'll stab the 2rz in there. Fingers crossed

The new time machine. 22re with an auto and 43,000 original miles. I wanted to swap everything over to this truck but didn't want to cut and weld everything over again, so i'll have to sacrifice some up-travel with this stupid ifs frame.

What did you have to do to get round headlights in there? Did you make those bezels? Hard to tell from the picture.

I used stock headlights with the steel buckets behind them. Then i narrowed the first gen grill on both sides and built my own headlight bezels out of sheet metal. I had to drill new holes into the core support to make it all work, not the best way of doing it but it works so far.
