MUDship - Temecula to San Diego?

Maybe a long shot, but does anyone here drive from the Temecula area down to San Diego? I am interested in a set of tires and the guy is in Chino Hills but can get them as far as Temecula. I could drive up there, but the cost of gas would probably kill the deal. Hoping to find someone that is already coming this way.

I can throw in a couple of bucks for the hassle. Thanks!

Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately the tires have been sold.

I am looking for an inexpensive set of 285 ATs if anyone has any. Just want to test them out and see if the smaller tires are manageable with lower gearing. Would like to step down in tire size as I am planning some longer road trips and don't need 35" MTs.

I would think you would get worse milage going to smaller tires on the freeway, especially with 4:88's?
