oops, apparently my sales guy wrote down the wrong model...

it's a Gary Fisher Hifi Deluxe, one step above the Plus version...better components on it...

it's now in my garage, waiting for tomorrow's 60ish temps so I can take 'er for a spin!!! :bounce:

Great bike from a great company. Have a blast riding it.

I have to just add my nag. If you don't have one, please get and always ride with a helmet. I ask out of selfish reasons, I like MUD and if something happens to you, we are all screwed.

Congrats on the wheels.

I could shed no light on your choice as I am from the north shore which is mostly free riding which means big hit bikes.

Mind you my Bullit is going on the chopping block as I will be backing away from 20 plus foot drops skinny ladders way up in the air and teeter totters that turn as they drop among many other crazy stunts.

For me it will be a dirt bag transition around 33pounds, all mountain bike. For whistler I will buy a couple year old Norco Shore.

One thing I can say, I will not be going back to a hard tail at my age, tried it on one ride and hated it.

I'd look into the lineup from Pivot...
