I know we don't all agree on everything in politics, but I think most in the club are conservative-ish. There is a lot of upheaval going on in politics right now, and the biggest opportunity to make a real difference (IMHO) is in the speaker of the house race.
If you haven't weighed in with your MS house rep on the speaker issue, you ought to.

Call your house representative and tell him you want Jeff Smith to replace Billy McCoy. Smith has promised to replace the tv cameras in the house (what do they have to hide?) and has also promised to allow bills to get to the floor for a vote, rather than hold stuff in committee if he doesn't agree (McCoy).
