I have already told some of you but it's official, I am moving to the Destin area. I got a great offer down there and couldn't pass it up, especially since my greatest passion is boating.
Being gone 5-6 days a week for work and missing too many Cottonland meetings got to me, and this is a new chapter and a great career opportunity for me.
I am keeping my membership and cruiser, and I think that this opportunity will allow me to actually make an event or three next year. It also means a few much-needed upgrades to my rig!
I hope to keep in touch with all of you and still "post up."
In the meantime, I am probably going to sell my house. Being an out-of-state landlord isn't my plan, unless something changes. If any of you are home-shopping or know someone who is, PM me. It's a great place, great location, has an awesome shop and playhouse, and is going to be priced to sell- quickly. I will probably list it later this week.
Oh, one more thing- there's a BJ-40 diesel cruiser (RH drive) in show condition for sale near my new office down there. Don't know a price, but if anyone is interested, I will get more info. 78k miles. Heck, I may come back with it for SprangFlang 2008!
