Mountain House - Vacation Rental near Asheville - Any leads?

Every year our family rents a house in the mountains somewhere. I'm getting an early start on looking for a place up near Asheville for a week next year sometime in July.

Need... 5 BR's, a great view so up high, near good hiking, near "activities" like rafting, fishing, etc...

Any of you Asheville folks have any lines on something to look at?

Hey Steen -

I don't have a line on a specific house but I have used a rental company in the area that has always been great to work with.

It has been a few years since we last rented with them but my experiences have always been good and the houses always exceeded our expectations.

The rental company is based in Black Mountain, NC which is on the east side of Asheville but their available properties are distributed in a wide range throughout the greater Asheville area.

I used VRBO to get places around TELLICO for the last 6 years. All but one was great. But the price was so cheap, it made up for it.
