More birfield Help needed (1 Viewer)

ok my rig is a 1976 FJ40 ,I am going thru the front end rebuilding my knuckles had my Eaton LSD rebuilt also , here is my problem or i think it might be a problem at one time or another i had to replace the ps side birfield the birfield i had at the time was from a mini truck as are all my spares so i ground out the knuckle housing and put it back toghter and no problems , now that i have it apart both sides i am going to do the same to the drivers side , but then i started looking my drivers side birfield which is oem the shaft is about 1/2 inch longer or 10mm than the mini truck birfields, what im wondering is will this be a problem as i see it it shouldnt be i just wont be able to put the c clip on the outside after the hub goes on , what do the experts & non experts think

Use a washer and a bolt to keep the axle pulled out into the lockout.

No big deal.
