Mod for my RTT

So, Im happy with my ezeezy awn tent... for the most part....but the velcro cover that holds the strap/rachet is a joke !!!!

After procrastinating for a couple of years this is the mod we did to keep it from coming off loose at hwy speeds...

This is the problem... (velcro cover starts to flap around at hwy speeds)




This is the solution snap buttons purchased at a crafts store....

Saw in the snap buttons and that solve the problem...

We did an over kill with 4 buttons but I rather do this once...
I think two buttons would of been enough tho'.

Great idea! The best part is you don't know it's there unless you look for it. Nice job. Will keep this in mind.

There are different grades of hook and loop. General purpose and tough stuff that is used on over-the-road truck tarps. You did a fine job with the snaps.
