Anyone free MLK weekend that is willing to do a mild run? I am off that weekend and feel like "stretching the legs" of the LC.

Havent the slightest idea to be honest. Not familiar with 4x trails, only dirtbiking places which are mostly single track. Im wide open for ideas. I do however wish to not have to pull dents from my rocker panels!
I know the Ocotillo Wells area which is not a trail but decent enough to get my feet wet. Any thoughts?

I’ve run a few of the trails in this book and was going to bring it to work today to look for some mild runs but forgot it - I feel lucky that I wore a matching pair of shoes.

Upper coyote in Anza is fun - never made it to the cabin. Pinstripes are a guarantee but no dents. I would like to run lower coyote.

I did the run up to burro Schmidt’s tunnel but would not consider that to be mild. It was by far the most fun I've had offroad, after I made it back to pavement again without having to call 911.

Ended up at the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago in anza but not really sure how I got there (left the trail guide on the couch). I was looking for the truck trail and must have taken a wrong turn.

Were you looking to go on Saturday or Sunday? I can throw out a few more suggestions after I get home tonight.

Looks like Sunday will be the day of choice. I have a friend or two work that will be trying to go. If it materializes thats another thing! Tomorrow I will have a for sure answer about time and such.
