Mississippi-mud.com is having a trail ride on private land in June. Its for members of the site but joining is free and it is a group of 4x4 enthusiasts all over the gamut. (ie: not just Jeeps)

I went on the last one and had a blast. Join the site and you can see some pics in the pic thread. There was also a 60 there last time who lost his side mirror to a tree. :mad: The trails are kind of tight in places but it is a good time and home to the infamous "Mississippi hole."

Its only 35 min. or so from Jackson. Check it out if interested.
 
This also happened in addition to the side mirror being ripped off my 62.

it rained about 2 inches while were down there and it got slick which made me slide into a tree on the way out. It was some great trails and I plan to attend the ride in june.
 
Look under Trail Rides and Monkey town trail ride....It is this weekend the 23rd. Should be there around 11:00 to 12:00. Just introduce yourself on the website and let them know you are coming. We need another 60 series over there!!! As of now, I'm the only one.

I can't make this one, too close to the church mission trip I'm leading, but thanks 1ton for the invite. I'm gonna make one of these rides soon.

Mat, please keep us pluged in over here. I nominate you the mississippi mudd rep for Cottonland!
 
The boys and I had a good time today. Thanks for the tip Matt.

Lets go over the the Pearl together sometime. Definately keep us posted on rides n' such in the area.

Regrettably, I forgot my camera so I have no photos to prove I went today. I confess I avoided the Mississippi hole. I've had enough mud for awhile after having to winch 150 feet or so a few weeks ago here in the area.

I enjoyed meeting you. I had a good time too. I have a couple of pics to prove you were there that I will post up.



I am looking forward to more rides...I did see on the news last night that they ran a "sting" at the Pearl yesterday afternoon to get ATV riders.
