Missing post?

There was a post yesterday ref. a 72? 40 that Rene? picked up for the body and was willing to strip other parts off. For the life of me I cannot find the post. Was it pulled or moved? Or am I just getting old and seeing things?

It was deleted because 40 TECH is for TECH, not for classifieds or giving things away. There is a classifieds section for these threads.

Was it deleted or moved? I understand it was in the wrong place but why delete it versus move it to the correct location. Curious

In most cases (tho, not all) it's a deliberate decision by the member to not follow the rules. If EVERY mis-positioned classified was simply moved, then EVERY member would post in the wrong spot to get the visibility and know it would be moved later.

I understand what your saying but by the nature of the post I believe his/her intention was legit. Oh well, live and learn I guess. This was the first time I ran across a "delete" versus move and was curious as to what happened.

I did not read the post, but know that it is always a judgement call...and there are days, when you've moderated a handful of items already, that judgements are made quicker than others
