Yes if you look it was placed on top...not bottom....

I had a Datsun 510 where the previous owner had installed the mount upside down (hat on top). Shortly after buying it, I accelerated hard from a stop and there was a loud bang followed by grinding noise. Stopped to take a look and my diff was on the floor.
