Anyone familiar with this model? I'm picking up a used one soon with an S52 Mig attachment. I'm looking for any reviews and/or what accessories I could add to it (TIG). It seems like a hell of a welder.

I've got the S52A wire feeder on my Spoolmate 200 and have nothing but good experiences with it.

The specs on the power supply you're picking up look great provided you have a 100A 220VAC or higher service. I suppose as long as you don't plan on running full power it would work fine on a 50A circuit. If you scored a good deal it's great because of all the processes it can perform (GMAW, SMAW, GTAW) with power to spare.

good to hear thx. I paid $1250 for them, and it came with an 80 lb CO2 tank with papers. I'm gonna have to limit it on a 50A circuit for now. It was bought new in a fab shop, and used for a year. Been sitting ever since.

That's a great deal. With a 50A circuit it should do everything you need. Gather the bits for GTAW and a cylinder of argon and you're all set.

Yeah, that's my plan. I'm not sure which unit to look for. I was looking at the Miller HF 251D1, but there is also a 251-2. I think other brands can be used with it too. It will get TIG.
