Mill Creek Canyon Trails ?? (1 Viewer)

I am going to a Men's Retreat this weekend in Forest Falls (Mill Creek Canyon). HWY 38 and Valley of the falls Drive.

Does anyone know trails in the area, or within a 30 min. drive?? Maps? details?

Onyx summit trail 2N61 is up near there.. but i have no idea what would be open right now after that fire that they just had. Go to the USFS and see whats open and whats not.

Anyone heard of Warren Peak? a ranger said there is a road to there. Time Distance difficulty?

On the way up is a few spots past the Mill Creek Ranger station, one that goes to the Lookout, and beyond to Angeles Oaks, In Angeles Oaks you can dive off the hill and drop into the Santa Ana River canyon and go in Clarks or Radford Grade to Big Bear, all thes trails are still open

Thanks for the info. I took the point lookout trail and went over to Angelos Oaks for lunch, Nice easy trail @ 15 miles and great views. sorry no pics.

yeah thats a great afternoon drive, used to have a trail that lead down to the back of the new dam they built back there, they close it in the summer
