Wiring up a 2004 M105A2 military trailer to my LC. My 2004 Land Cruiser has the towing package with the 7-pin out receptacle. I have replaced the trailers 24v bulbs with 12v ones. I have removed the 12-pin NATO plug from the trailer and connected the relevant 4 trailers wires to a 7-pin plug using with a MICTUNING Heavy Duty 7 Way Plug Inline Trailer Cord with 7 Gang Junction Box - 8 Feet, Weatherproof

The problem is that ONLY the left side lights work. The trailer wiring is OK on the right because by shorting out various terminal it is possible to get the right bulbs to operate but never in unison or at the same time as the left. A diagram I found on the Steele Soldiers forum shows relays are required but as I'm back to basics and the trailer has direct separate wires to just the normal two bulbs on both sides I can't see why anything complicated should be required. I'm sure someone here has done this!

thanks
