Military AC trailer chassis not magnetic????

Anybody know much about military trailers? Scored a Rayethon S/A chassis that held an AC unit. Very similar to m116a3 from the looks of it. Weird part is that some areas like the rims and tow points are magnetic/Steel. Everything else is not magnetic including the frame. I can't imagine this thing is aluminum. The CARC paint/coating wouldn't make sense bc the areas that are magnetic are coated as well with it.

Any ideas?????

There are Aluminum trailers out there, as well as some lightweight versions of the heavier steel originals made for airborne use. Does the trailer have the standard plating that might give a model number?

Silver eagle are aluminum, M1101 1102 etc. Others are as well. Look for riveted plates instead of welds and of course, magnetic works too...
