Browsing for a new CB I have found some Midland's I like. But even on their site most of them have been discontinued??
Why? I can find them through various online resources. But doesnt exactly put a warm feeling in me on purchasing one.
Specifically Im interested in comparing the 79-290 and the handheld 75-822 (with mobile kit connected to an external antenna and exteranl speaker). I know the handheld is avail. Main reason for intrest in is size.
Im currently have a Cobra 29 NW, which I really like but is LARGE.
Any thoughts on the Midland lack of avail? or thoughts on the heldhand (assuming external Firestick is attached).
