Basically took the same route as after Cruiser Days with a few additions: Harrison West, Weaver-Francis Traverse, Hale, Sunrise, over to Chehalis, camped the night at the end of the lake, checked out a few areas along Chehalis FSR then to Wildon Lk road, making it past the 1st washout. Discression ruled the day as it was getting to 16:00, and we had Margaret Pass to get through on the way out Norrish Creek FSR, kids in the trucks and wanted to be home not too late. Pulled into Abby as it got dark; timing was perfect.
Ran into two foresty fellows walking down an offshoot off Wilson, who said they were tagging for heli-logging.
I took Kurtis and a buddy of his, while Ciaran and his wife and their son. By all counts they all had a blast!
Want to go back and check out all the way to Wilson: Did Mike make it?
Sunrise was a mess. Did the 4WDABC thing and took out two bags of garbage. One picnic table was destroyed.
Ciaran is a TROOPER! At the 1st obtacle on the Weaver/Francis traverse he blew the high pressure power steering line on his BJ60. Took off the belt and decided to "check it out for a while and see". Two days and the entire loop later...
Two mystery views attached. Do you know where they were taken?
