Question for you, I just finished up restoration and I have probably most of the old - mostly original hardware. Some of it's rough, but there are some very good nuts, bolts, washers, etc...Is there a market for used/original? I hate to just dump this stuff...Thanks
 
there are people who send the hardware off to platers. A plating shop will clean an re-irridite the parts making them look "newish".
If the truck spent a lot of time in a rust belt they may not be able to salvage the hardware. I've run across bolts that need 11.5 mm
wrenches when they once took a 12.
