Hey Lowenbrau,

I have a JAP import in OZ, how did you manage to get a 12V power source? How also did you get a trailer socket to 12V ?

Really interested as I am using 24 -> 12 convertors and would be interested in another way.

Battery equalizers are likely the better solution if your draw is under control. Alternatively use a 24 to 12 converter to charge an independant acccessory battery.

I wire my trailers 24V so I'm not much help there but Bosch makes a 3-4 wire 24v to 12v box.
