Please join the Four Wheel Drive Association of British Columbia as we host our May West Harrison Maintenance Run. We meet at the Sasquatch Inn (approximately 30kms east of Mission on Hwy 7) at 9:30am and depart from there at 10:00 (SHARP!). We usually return by approximately 5pm, however optional trail sections may result in a later return. Those who need to return earlier can -- all trails are a short distance from the Harrison West Forest Service Road.
This weekend (weather permitting) we will be painting the tables at Hale Creek and Sunrise Lake in preparation for the camping season -- work that in the case of Hale Creek that has been on the "to do" list since last November! As well, we'll be visiting the Francis Lake site again to do an initial site cleanup prior to the improvements we'll be making later this summer under a pending maintenance agreement with the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and the Arts.
This run is suitable for all levels of vehicle capability. As always, we'll select most trails and destinations of the day based on the number of participants and types of vehicles attending.
If I can answer any questions about this run, our recreation site maintenance agreements or the Four Wheel Drive Association of British Columbia in general, please don't hesitate to drop me a note.
See you Saturday!
