Max torque a transfer case can handle (1 Viewer)

I have tried searching everywhere but does anyone know where the breaking point for a 94 80 series transfer case is torque wise, I’m just about finished with my Duramax swap in my Land Cruiser and I’m curious on how much I can turn it up before I need to start replacing things

Considering the fact that a number of guys here have swapped to a Cummins 6BT and have kept the Toyota T-Case, I think you're good.

If you can hold the traction, then you'll figure out the breaking point. Your DS will come off before the T-Case will break.
